You'd think shooting bridges and buildings and other stationary items would be easy, but I find that I am far worse at it than shooting less stationary objects. Perhaps it is just that I am more forgiving of myself with the moving objects.
I also dislike that the sky is completely blown out, but I don't know how to fix that. Still, this is the best of the bunch, and the last of the green river photos I'm going to put up. At least until next year.
Personally, I think of Chicago skies as being gray or white, so I didn't noticed the overexposure. I was too captivated by the river leading up to the strong skyline.

@Mel: I suppose that's fair, and that's certainly the case more often than not in winter and spring. But we do have some lovely, striking blue skies - though not that day, clearly.
