Distracted and Amazed

This is a photo of my friends Bill and Erin. They have been dating for nearly four years now, and make a great couple.

I had a major crush on Bill when we first met. Actually, we first met in a class his first year (he came in as a junior, technically), but I transfered out after only one class. I do very clearly remember seeing him, though.

I do not remember, though, where it was we met that we became friends. It seems as if we went from "Hey, cute guy in class - oops, not any more" to "Really good friends" with nothing in between.

My mother will probably be confused on reading this, because I don't talk much about Bill and Erin, and she barely recalls meeting them, but Bill is one of my closest friends. I'm lucky in that Erin is also a very close friend. I can talk to these two about just about anything.

However, this string of photos has convinced me to find my camera's "Advanced Users Guide" and figure out how to set the manual focus. I have no idea why it focused on Devon's beer in front of Maria or Pat's margarita in front of Bill.

Maybe my camera is a drunk.

(Yes, I really do find myself funny, but I accept I might be the only one. I blame my father for this trait.)
