This is Claire and me. Claire is the normal one on the left, and I am the bruised on on the right. No, I have no idea where that ugly bruise came from, but I got it on the 25th, and it's still around. Stupid bruise.
There will be very few photos of me on this site, but I don't want to have none. For one, it's always nice to know who someone is when you're looking through their lens. For another, there's no way I'm going to keep my family and friends' attention if I don't post the occasional photo of myself.
Claire is my normal friend. Bill would contest this, because she graduated from our school in 3.5 years, and would have graduated in 3 if she hadn't taken her adviser's advice her first semester and taken less than 18 credit hours. Yes, she made very good grades. She's incredibly smart.
She has a very nice husband, two friendly dogs, a horse, and a cat that occasionally considers being friendly. Everyone but the horse occupies a lovely house - with a formal dining room. This was very important to Claire back when they were house-hunting, and I'm glad they found it.
Claire is normal, but she's far from boring. Heck, she let me and several of my friends (whom she didn't know or just barely knew) invade her house for the weekend while I was in New Mexico, and loved every second of it.
I know very few people who are as gracious as Claire (though my grandma definitely has her beat). I aspire to be at least half as good as Claire, someday (I stand no chance of being half as good as my grandmother, but it's nice knowing there's perfection in this world).
Hahaha! I have posted this ahead of time, so my loyal watchers are not bored as they were while I was on my trip to New Mexico. Today, tomorrow, the next day and the day after that have all been posted early, so no one gets bored. I will be photographing in Baltimore from the 5th to the 9th, and today is "insane packing day".
I will hopefully manage to post something on the 8th and 9th, so there's no more gaps, as there were.
