Watching my friends

Posted by Tasha (Chicago, United States) on 5 April 2008 in People & Portraits.

Kelly is in blue. Erin is in grey (but you knew that already!). Jenna is in green. Claire, obviously, is in white.

I had never met Kelly before this evening, but I'm so glad Claire invited her. She's a fun lady, and quite nice.

She also ate a piece of Jenna's soy cheese pizza without realizing it was soy cheese. Since she, apparently, also is not a dairy person, she pulled off all that soy cheese and didn't eat it. When she found out much later in the evening, Jenna told her to have another piece - with cheese this time.

Jenna and Erin were best friends (and roommates, then neighbors) in college. They're insanely close. Jenna was a year behind Claire and I, Erin was two years behind. While I was close with all three of them, they barely knew Claire (and vice-versa) in college. This makes it very kind of Claire to host a girls' night and agree to invite them, just because I wanted them there. Luckily for Claire, Erin and I, Claire and Erin really hit it off.

Even more luckily, when Bill and Robert met, they also hit it off. Since the four of them live rather near each other these days, I have all sorts of warm fuzzies for introducing them to each other.

Hahaha! I have posted this ahead of time, so my loyal watchers are not bored as they were while I was on my trip to New Mexico. Today, tomorrow, and the next day have all been posted early, so no one gets bored. I will be photographing in Baltimore from the 5th to the 9th, and don't want to miss an update.

I will hopefully manage to post something on the 8th and 9th, so there's no more gaps, as there were. (This photo was taken 28 March 2008.)
