A plastic-wrapped toilet

Another random thing I've seen in Chicago, the first time way back in October when I visited the city. I saw it for the first time at O'Hare Airport, and pretty much called Angelique to tell her about my suspicion that Chicagoans are germaphobes as soon as I was done in the bathroom. This feeling was enhanced by the never-ending loop of "Please grasp the sanatized handrails on the moving walkways". That's roughly what it said, anyway.

This toilet is in Union Station, Chicago. So it must be about having massive numbers of people using the toilets daily. While I have problems with it from a perspective of resource use and environmental protection, I admit I've come to revise my opinion a bit since living here, and it may just make sense to do something like this when there are several thousand people using the facilities daily. I also no longer think Chicagoans are germaphobes, because most of them seem to have a great tolerance of the dirt and germs and so forth that come with living.
