Holy Smokes! Batman!

I was invited to celebrate Passover with my friend Jenna and her family. The morning after, we went out to breakfast and found batman's car. It was still parked there when we left, so I went to get my camera. I couldn't resist.

Before we went in, though, we did go get a closer look. An obvious show car, it very much reminded me of my Uncle Allan.

I was not even a twinkle when my Aunt Mary and Uncle Allan met, but I've been told a bit about their courtship through my mother.

Apparently, back when they met, my uncle had two automobiles. His motorcycle, which was his main form of transportation and a show car. Well, my grandparents (the ones previously pictured, with my sister) were having no truck with Aunt Mary going anywhere on a motorcycle, so it was go out in the show car or no date.

Even when I was young, I sort of understood that Uncle Allan must have thought my Aunt Mary was something special if he was willing to drive (read: risk) the show car out and about on their dates.

Sure seems like he was right, as they're still together, many years and two now-grown kids later. I'll have more to say as this set continues.
